Executive PTA Board

President
Andrea Talley
Originally from Michigan, Andrea spent several years in Oklahoma for graduate school and work before making Houston her home in 2012. She worked as a Petroleum Geologist before choosing to stay home with her three daughters. Two currently attend Jenks, while the oldest is at Adams!
Andrea enjoys spending time outdoors, especially golfing and playing pickleball. She is excited to bring her energy and enthusiasm to leading our amazing PTA while supporting Jenks families throughout the year.

VP Programs
Jessica Macchi
Originally from New York City and Colombia, Jess has proudly called Texas home since 2018. Before relocating, she worked as an Account Manager for two tech startups. She is a proud mom to two energetic boys—one entering 4th grade and the other starting 1st grade. Jess enjoys traveling, staying active, watching reality TV, and creating lasting memories with her family. She is excited to bring creativity, fun, and engaging experiences to Jenks this year through programs and events that connect and inspire our students and families.

Nida Wani
Nida has been part of the Jenks community since it opened in 2016. She has a daughter going into 2nd grade this year! Nida has held several PTA roles, including International Festival Chair and Treasurer, and loves supporting the school through volunteering and substitute teaching. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Nida is passionate about building a welcoming school environment and looks forward to growing our Jenks PTA family this year!

VP Fundraising
Melissa Gaytán
Melissa is excited to be serving her second year on the PTA Board as VP of Fundraising. Being involved in the PTA has been a rewarding way to connect with families, support our teachers, and help create meaningful experiences for our students. She looks forward to another great year of working together to make a positive impact for our schools. She has two kiddos at Jenks, one at Adams JH, and one starting HS at Jordan this year. Prior to her PTA life, she worked as an ICU nurse at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee.

Secretary
Natalia Perez
Originally from Colombia, Natalia moved to Miami before making Texas home in 2016. She's a professional accountant and proud mom of three girls—a 2nd grader, a 1st grader, and a baby about to turn one! Natalia enjoys working out, reading, and exploring Houston's food scene with her family. After getting involved as a volunteer her first year at Jenks, she was inspired to do even more and joined the PTA Board. She's excited to start her role as Secretary and support the Jenks community.

Treasurer
Raychelle Geggatt
Raychelle is mom to three boys—one at Jordan High School, one at Adams Junior High, and the youngest, Calvin, is a 3rd grader at Jenks. Previously she managed corporate events and conferences at technology companies where she developed a love for spreadsheets and budgeting. When not volunteering or shuttling boys to their extra curricular activities, she enjoys gardening, reading and dabbling in handifcrafts.

Uche Okpala
Originally from Nigeria, Uche and her family moved to Texas in 2012 after years of globe-trotting for her career in the oil and gas industry. She's a proud mom of two daughters entering 3rd and 5th grade and brings over 21 years of professional experience to the table. Uche loves reading, dancing, and spending quality time with family. She's excited to bring her energy and global perspective to create meaningful programs for our students this year.

Hospitality
Charlene Gonzalez
Charlene is the proud mom of four—two at Jenks, one at Adams, and one starting at Jordan this year! She grew up in Cypress, lived in Austin for 17 years, and has called Katy home since 2015. Charlene has a Master's in Nursing and worked as a pediatric nurse before deciding to stay home. She now manages a family property with 20+ chickens, two rabbits and two cats! When time allows, she enjoys reading, baking, and bringing people together with good food and great conversation. Charlene is excited to begin her second year as Hospitality Chair and looks forward to another year of showing appreciation for the school's amazing teachers and staff.

Healthy Lifestyles
CC Nevils
Carmen "CC" Nevils is in her second year as the PTA Healthy Lifestyles Chair. Guided by her faith, she believes serving others is one of the best ways to make a difference. Outside of PTA, she enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, relaxing on a beach, cheering on the Texans, and spending weekends watching her sons play sports. She is excited to motivate all Jags to build habits that support a balanced lifestyle.

Advocacy
Julie Lerro
Julie is a mom of two children at Adams and Jenks. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and after a few stops along the way, her family made Katy home last year. Julie enjoys traveling, reading, and giving back through volunteering. She's excited to serve in her first PTA role and looks forward to learning, contributing, and connecting with our school community.

Communications
Paola Rendall
Paola Rendall, originally from Mexico City, is a proud mom of two and is passionate about building strong connections between families and the school community. She brings a professional background in executive support, where organization, communication, and collaboration are at the heart of her work. Paola enjoys volunteering, supporting school events, and helping families stay informed and engaged. She is honored to serve on the PTA and looks forward to fostering a welcoming, connected, and positive experience for all students, families, and staff.

Melissa Bader
Originally from Dallas, Melissa has called Katy home since 2015. Before choosing to stay home with her two children, she worked in accounting for the largest not-for-profit health system in the state of Texas. She's a proud mom to one girl—entering 5th grade and one boy, going into 2nd grade. Melissa loves running, Pilates, coffee, traveling, and making lasting memories with her family and friends. She's excited to capture memories of the Jenks students and faculty as they make new memories this school year.

ELL
Gabi Cortesia
Gabriela is proud to call both the U.S and Venezuela home. She moved to the U.S over a decade ago and is the devoted mom of a cheerful 3rd grader at Jenks. With a successful career in marketing and design, Gabriela strives to balance work, family time, and giving back to her community. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying actively involved in her daughter's education. She has previously served as Historian and this will be her 2nd year taking on the ELL role.

Katy Council
Maygelia Peńa
Maygelia is a proud mom of two Jenks Jaguars and is honored to serve on the Jenks PTA Board. With a background in Chemical Engineering and experience in the oil and gas industry, she now pursues her passions as an entrepreneur. She enjoys planning and organizing, baking, and creating meaningful experiences for her family and community. Dedicated to serving others, Maygelia loves volunteering at Jenks and believes that strong schools are built through engaged families and a supportive community. She is excited to continue working alongside fellow PTA volunteers, staff, and families to make this another wonderful year at Jenks.

Katy Council
Fabiola Dueñas
Fabiola has served the housing and indemnification industry through 13 years as an Allstate agent and now leading her KW real estate team for 13 years. Her passion for servanthood and conscious stewarding of some of people's biggest milestones is what she is most recognized for. She has been living in the Katy suburbs since 2001 while raising 2 boys with her husband and their fur babies. She has served on The Ballard House board since 2017 to advocate care, belonging and support for those visiting the great Houston Medical Center and is honored to become part of the amazing support system the PTA brings to our students and community.

Spiritwear
Nicole Nichols
Nicole is originally from the East Coast but has called the Katy area home since 2000. She's a proud mom of four—one Jaguar in 2nd grade, two students at Adams JH, and a sophomore at Jordan HS. Her family has been part of Jenks since it opened in 2016! Nicole is a talented artist currently working toward her BFA in Painting at the University of Houston and plans to teach K-12 Art in the future. She's excited to begin the 2nd year bringing her creativity to the Spirit Wear team!

JA Coordinator
Lisa Ortiz
Lisa is a proud mom of 5 Jaguars and has been a part of the Jenks family since its inaugural year in 2016 when her oldest started kindergarten. She has volunteered in PTA roles including VP of Volunteers and Junior Achievement Chair as well as at the district level as member of the Katy ISD Executive Board and participated in Leadership Katy. While her kids now attend LCISD schools where she is also an active volunteer, she still has a passionate heart for our Jenks community and Katy ISD teachers so she continues to fulfill the role as JA Chair at Jenks and is a current member of Foundation 40 serving as co-chair of the Limelight Challenge Event that benefits the Katy ISD Education Foundation. In her free time she loves watching sports, trying out new restaurants and traveling with her husband and kids!
